The CESS committee organized Teacher’s Day Celebration on 9 th September, 2019. Teacher’s Day is celebrated on 5th September, on the occasion of birth anniversary of our second president of India, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. All the professors of Computer Engineering Department attended the celebration. The function was conducted from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Monday in the Seminar Hall for all the professors and students of the department. There were more than 40 students who actively participated in the celebration. The function began with warm welcoming of the professors and felicitation of Head of the Department, Dr. Satish Ket sir by the President of CESS Mr. Saad Ghojaria. The students were then enlightened by an inspiring and motivating speech by Dr. Satish Ket, sharing his experience and guidance. Mr.Saad Ghojaria then, explained the feeling for the teachers and expressed gratitude in his speech, representing students. Here after, some entertaining activities were conducted by the students for teachers like poetry, letters and singing. The main motto of celebrating Teacher’s Day was, to put forth that, ‘Teaching is the most influential job in the world’. Teachers are known to shape the mind of youth and without knowledge no one can exist in this world. Teacher impart good values in children and turn them into responsible citizens. So, this was a small contribution by the student of computer department to thank all the professors for their commendable role in our lives. The celebration, lastly, ended with cake cutting and expressing gratitude towards the professors.
